CANSSI welcomed four new members to its Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) in January.
Jay Breidt (University of Chicago), Peter Craigmile (Ohio State University), Kerrie Mengersen (Queensland University of Technology), and Jessica Utts (University of California, Irvine) will serve three-year terms that run until December 2025.
The SAC is chaired by the Director of CANSSI and consists of nine prominent statistical scientists, typically from outside Canada. It adjudicates competitions for Collaborative Research Team projects, major workshops and conferences, and makes funding recommendations to the Board.
