The successful candidate should hold a PhD (or be near completion) in any area of Statistics. Applicants with a master’s degree in Statistics and a strong record of teaching university level Statistics may also be considered.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking to hire a highly qualified individual for one tenure-track position beginning August 1, 2024, at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to teach courses in this Post-Baccalaureate program. The ideal candidate will also have the background to teach other graduate and upper-level Statistics courses. Examples of courses in the Post-Baccalaureate program that the candidate will be involved with include Introduction to Statistical Data Analysis, Data Visualization and Manipulation through Scripting, Regression for Applied Data Science, Design for Data Science, Multivariate Statistics for Applied Data Science, and Simulations for Modeling, Optimizing and Analysis. The successful candidate will also be expected to establish an independent research program and supervise student research and projects.
