The CANSSI Prairies Regional Centre has organized a new workshop series that will begin in August 2023.

According to Regional Director Mohammad Jafari Jozani (University of Manitoba), the CANSSI Prairies Workshop Series in Data Science will offer an excellent opportunity for individuals to enhance their knowledge and skills in various areas of data science. Through a series of engaging and interactive workshops, participants will have the opportunity to explore new topics, learn cutting-edge techniques, and connect with experts in the field.

“Whether you are new to data science or are an experienced practitioner, these workshops will provide a valuable platform to advance your understanding of the field and apply it to real-world problems,” said Mohammad. “By attending the CANSSI Prairies Workshop Series in Data Science, you will be better equipped to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of data science and make meaningful contributions to your field of interest.”

The workshops will be hosted by universities in the CANSSI Prairies region (covering Manitoba, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut) and will be presented in a hybrid format to enable both in-person and virtual attendance.
