Assistant Professor in Statistics | University of New Brunswick
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Brunswick Saint John invites applications for a tenure-track position in Statistics, at the rank of Assistant Professor, to start July 1, 2026. This position is subject to budgetary approval. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Statistics (candidates with a PhD in Statistics nearing completion may be considered for appointment at the rank of lecturer), a proven record of high-quality independent research, as well as demonstrated or strong promise for excellence in teaching. They are to present a research plan that has potential for long-term external funding via Tri-Council grants and/or industry partnerships; to initiate an active research program; and to recruit/supervise students conducting research at undergraduate and graduate levels. Opportunities exist for research collaborations in different areas related to Coastal Studies and Health Sciences, which are areas of strength and strategic growth for the Campus. Candidates in all areas of Statistics are encouraged to apply.

Max Wyman Assistant Professor in Statistics | University of Alberta
The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta invites applications for a Max Wyman Assistant Professorship in any area of Statistics. The position has a 3-year fixed-term appointment.
The successful candidate will be able to apply for grant funding, establish a research program in an excellent research environment, and develop their teaching portfolio with a teaching load of 2 courses per year. The start date of the position is July 1, 2026.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in Statistics (or equivalent), demonstrated accomplishments and clear promise in research in any area of Statistical Sciences, as well as a strong commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor Position in Data Science | University of British Columbia (Okanagan)

Barber Faculty of Science, at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Okanagan campus invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in the area of Data Science at the rank of Assistant Professor.

- Faire preuve d’excellentes qualités de pédagogue.

The Department of Decision Sciences at HEC Montréal is seeking candidates for a tenure‐track position in financial engineering, beginning June 1, 2026.
Qualifications – Candidates must:
- Have completed or nearly completed a PhD in Mathematical Finance or in a related field associated with Decision Sciences and/or Finance
- Have a strong publication record in Mathematical Finance and/or outstanding research potential
- Show an aptitude to supervise students at the MSc and PhD levels, and a desire to engage in one or more of our research groups
- Show excellent potential in teaching with demonstrated communication skills
