Overview

Overview

The CANSSI-StatLab Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship is offered in conjunction with CANSSI’s flagship CANSSI Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowships program. The CANSSI-StatLab fellowship is open to applicants with a recent PhD in actuarial sciences, biostatistics, data science, or statistics, uses the same application process as the CDPF program, and provides the same benefits. The only difference between the two programs is that for the CANSSI-StatLab program, at least one supervisor must be a member of the CRM StatLab.

The CDPF program offers a salary of $70,000 per year over two years for a comprehensive statistics-centred training experience that includes a research project co-supervised by researchers at two different CANSSI member institutions.

CDPF applicants choose their preferred research projects from a list of project proposals submitted by researchers. Applicants who choose projects co-supervised by at least one researcher who is a member of the CRM StatLab are automatically considered for the CANSSI-StatLab Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship.
